GLASS ART FROM SHARDZ™

Encapsulate the shards from the ceremonial breaking of the glass and save your memories that will be treasured forever. The shards from the wedding day can now be transformed into a significant piece of art. The shards are permanently enclosed in a mezuzah case, picture frame, or kiddush cup.

Purchasing one of the items involves the following steps:

Purchase the item; mezuzah, kiddush cup, or picture frame
Select one of the colorful hand-blown glasses or use a glass you already have for the wedding
After the wedding, send the glass shards back to us in the canvas provided from the purchased glass. The glass shards are then crushed and encased permanently into the piece you have selected
14-16 weeks later you will receive a truly magnificent keepsake to cherish for years to come.

The process of having the shards incorporated in the artwork takes 3-4 months from the time we receive the shards from you. Glass Art from Shardz absolutely guarantees that the glass shards you send them from the wedding ceremony will be the same ones they place in your piece.

WEDDING CUP AND SATIN BAG

The colorful hand-blown 4" glass cup is available in the following colors: ruby, cobalt blue, purple, and black. You will receive a satin bag, and a piece of canvas along with the cup. The cup is first wrapped in the canvas provided and then placed in the bag before it is crushed.

SHARDZ MEZUZAH CASE

The clear glass cylinder has shards from the wedding ceremony permanently sealed within it. For the new couple this modern mezuzah "couples" shards from the wedding glass* with the meaningful prayer. The case lies on a miniature glass tube. The cap is removable if you choose to exchange the included copy of the parchment with a kosher parchment. The case measures 7" x 1". ENTWINED RING MEZUZAH CASE

This hand blown glass mezuzah case is exquisite. The case measures 5 1/4" and is mounted on a glass plate that is 7" long. The tubular glass case is available in ruby, cobalt blue, purple and black. The shards from the wedding glass* are encased in an entwined ring surrounding the case. A rolled copy of a parchment is in the case. There is an opening at the top if you would like to replace the parchment with a kosher scroll. A closer look at the enlargement shows how the mezuzah will lay against the doorpost. Case comes with hardware for affixing the case.

SHARDZ PICTURE FRAME

This is a unique and elegant way of displaying a wedding photo that incorporates the shards from the crushed wedding glass. Select from black, clear, cobalt blue, emerald, metallic, peach/amber, purple, or
turquoise. The shards will be enclosed in the left cylinder of the frame. Engraving in gold or silver is available on the base of the frame. Custom engraving of three lines with a maximum of 20 characters per line is available for an additional $12.00 (use comment box on the checkout screen to provide engraving information).

SHARDZ KIDDUSH CUP

This is an undeniable superb piece! The crushed shards are enclosed in the stem of the 8 1/2" kiddush cup. Ani L' Dodi is inscribed in Hebrew around the rim of the goblet and is available in gold or silver. The kiddush cup is available in ruby, cobalt blue, purple, black and of course clear. Custom beveled circular base for the kiddush cup available for an additional $30.00. Two lines of engraving up to 20 characters per line are included in the price (use comment box in the checkout screen to provide engraving information).

SUSPENDED LIGHT MENORAH

The encapsulated tube of crushed shards holds the Shamash high on this sleek and architectural hand blown menorah. The glass vessels zig-zag along the diagonal glass plain which is fused to a spherical slice of colored glass. The color of menorah is determined on the glass selection. For those who love the design of this menorah, you can order this without including your broken glass, it can be supplied by the manufacturer. Menorah measures approximately 12" x 5 1/4" x 3 3/4". This is a custom piece of artwork and will take up to 3 months to me made.
