Following are the policies of Judaica Specialties, the owner
and operator of this Web Site. Please read them carefully. These
policies will govern the relationship between Judaica Specialties
and its customers, and each party placing an order for merchandise
presented will be deemed to have agreed to and accepted such policies
as controlling in all respects.
Product Availability:
Quantities are limited on all merchandise offered for sale, and many of the
products are unique and/or one-of-a-kind. Accordingly, all products are offered
subject to prior sale, and in no event will Judaica Specialties be responsible
or liable if a product ordered is for any reason unavailable for shipment.
Further, Judaica Specialties reserves the right to refuse an order for any
reason it determines appropriate.
Pricing:
The actual prices at which products are offered for sale on this Site are determined
by Judaica Specialties, in its sole discretion. In those circumstances where
a "Suggested Retail Price" is indicated, the suggested price will
have been determined on the basis of information provided by that product's
supplier.
Payment:
Payment for merchandise purchased may be accomplished
through the use of an accepted credit card, or by cashier's or
personal check. If payment is by credit card, the customer's credit
card account will be charged promptly upon acceptance of the order.
If payment is by bank check, Judaica Specialties will defer shipment
until that check has cleared.
Credit Card Safety:
All reasonable steps will be taken to protect a customer's credit card account
from unauthorized use.
Chargebacks:
If customer disputes a credit card transaction and it is deemed to be a valid transaction, the customer will be charged by Judaica Specialties an additional credit card fee of $15.00 to cover the costs charged by the credit card company for the investigation.
Order Cancellation:
Orders submitted may be cancelled, but only by written notice actually received
by Judaica Specialties prior to shipment. All orders become final upon shipment
of the merchandise ordered.
Warranties:
Judaica Specialties only express warranty with respect to merchandise offered
is that such merchandise is as represented, and all other warranties are
expressly denied.
Returns:
We offer 100% satisfaction guarantee on our merchandise. If for some reason you are unhappy with your purchase, we will accept your return. We will exchange the merchandise or refund your money within 30 days of the purchase date. Please note that a restocking fee of the higher $5.00 or 15% will be applied to all returns. Send the unused merchandise in its original packaging via the US mail or another carrier of your choice back to us. We recommend insurance, so that you are protected in case the package is lost or damaged in transit. Shipping costs are not refunded. KOSHER PARCHMENTS CAN NOT BE RETURNED IF THE SEAL HAS BEEN BROKEN. The exception to our policy is on any head covers; for health reasons they are NOT returnable.
Refunds:
Judaica Specialties will refund the purchase price of merchandise only in those
circumstances where the product in question has been returned to Judaica
Specialties in the condition originally shipped, or under other circumstances
that it determines, in its sole discretion, warrant such a refund. In no
event will Judaica Specialties be obligated to refund handling or shipping
charges.
Inquiries:
All inquiries should be in writing and submitted by e-mail or fax. Judaica
Specialties will only be responsible for its written response to any such
inquiry.
Lost merchandise:
If a package does not arrive at its destination within a reasonable time (7 to 10 days) from the date it was shipped (from Texas), a claim must be filed through the United States Postal Service. The customer or Judaica Specialties can file the claim. The customer will be reimbursed for the price of the merchandise and the shipping. The customer WILL receive the refund from the United States Postal Service after the appropriate paperwork has been filed. The United States Postal Service handles all refund inquiries.
The customer will NOT receive a refund from Judaica Specialties. Judaica Specialties has no control over the time period it will take for the customer to receive the refund. Judaica Specialties is not responsible for merchandise that does not reach its destination if the customer has provided the incorrect address and Judaica Specialties can provide such proof that the merchandise was shipped according to the customers’ documented request or order.
