Shipping and Delivery
Shipping Within the Continuous 48 United States:
Unless a customer is otherwise advised, shipment of merchandise will occur within ten business days of an order's acceptance. We are not responsible for unrealistic delivery requests when the customer does not allow at least 10 days for any item to get the final destination. Express delivery is an option; however the customer will be responsible for all shipping rates that apply through the UPS plus a handling charge of $5.00. Customers will be responsible for all handling and shipping charges and these charges will be calculated and added to the customer's invoice. In the event that no shipping and handling charges appear on the shopping cart confirmation statement, this means that the amount could not be calculated, thus they will be calculated and debited to your credit card manually. We will contact the customer with the amount via e-mail.
If any damages occur during the shipment of merchandise to a customer, it will be the responsibility of the customer to notify us immediately; so we can put in a claim to UPS. NO claims will be honored after 5 days of the receipt of the package. Prices quoted and calculated on this site are only for the United States Mainland. Merchandise sent to Alaska and Hawaii are subject actual shipping charges depending on the weight of the package. Once your order is shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation by E-mail.
Most packages are sent through UPS; however Judaica Specialties reserves the right to send large, oversized or heavy packages parcel post or through the United States Postal service if needed. If any customer request faster delivery they can upgrade to express, 3 day and 2 day guaranteed service at their cost.
Shipping Outside of the United States:
All shipping and handling charges outside the United States will be calculated manually and added to your credit card accordingly. We do ship globally, however shipping prices vary by the size of the package, weight of the package and by destination. Delivery time going by air is between 5-10 days by air from the time your merchandise is sent. We have no control on the time a package remains in Customs. We suggest you call your postal service once we provide you with a Custom Number to follow up with your order. Judaica Specialties does NOT take responsibility if the package does not arrive to the customer in a timely manner if it has been held in Customs. If any product is returned to us the customer will be responsible for return shipping costs and the standard restocking fee. Judaica Specialties does NOT take responsibility for any packages that do not arrive to their destination if we can provide proof that the package has been sent.
All packages sent out of the United States are subject to the following additional fees:
A 4% International fee on the amount processed on your credit cards that do not have an address in the United States.
A $6.00 handling fee for the additional paper work required to send merchandise out of the country.

Express Mail Service: (United States only)
We offer express mail service to most destinations. Please call for shipping rates or log into the www.ups.com web site for more details.
Shipping Rates for Bulk or Discounted Orders:
Judaica Specialties will charge the customer the actual price quoted it cost sending it through UPS plus additional $8.00 handling fee per box on all discounted purchases. There is a 4% international fee imposed on orders outside of the United States.
Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and other territories of the United States:
Prices will vary depending on the size, weight and place that the merchandise is going.
Deliveries to Apartment Complexes, Office Buildings:
All packages being delivered to either an apartment complex or office building will be subject to the fee for delivery confirmation and signature required packages. The additional fee of $2.50 will be added to your order.
Damaged or Broken Merchandise:
If any damages occur during the shipment of merchandise to a customer, it will be the responsibility of the customer to notify us immediately, by e-mail only. We must have it in writing telling us what the problem is. Claims will be honored up until 5 days after receipt of the merchandise. If the package was sent UPS, they require the broken item be available for inspection in the box it was shipped in along with the packing material.
